Our second pilot project workshop was a youth-participatory design innovation workshop with children/young people from the local IB school, Kongsberg International School. The workshop explored the themes of daylight exposure, health and wellbeing and outdoor activities through design innovation activities using outdoor play, drawing, ´personas´, mind-mapping and discussions. The workshop participants explored when, how and why different imagined ´personas´ might access adequate daylight exposure. USN PhD research fellows shared some of the biological science of light, the eye and brain for humans. Participants took part in demonstrations of light measurement technology and wearables. The workshop was funded by University of South Eastern Norway´s research innovation stimulation initiative.
